INNOVATION PROPOSAL
As part of Lamar University's Digital Leading and Learning program, I am learning to develop an innovative pilot project called "Blended Learning for Spanish Bilingual Students." I wish for this project to be implemented in my classroom, benefiting this population and my students who are in the 5th grade at Raymond Elementary School.
IMPLEMENTATION OUTLINE
For Spanish speakers, blended learning can be an effective approach to language learning, enabling them to improve their Spanish skills through a combination of online language courses, virtual interactions with native speakers, and in-person practice with instructors or language exchange partners.
In this essay, I will share my reflections on my contributions to the learning community of my master's degree program in digital learning at Lamar University. I will highlight my active participation in group collaboration, thorough assignment reviews, and my transformative experience with the ADL accelerated learning option, emphasizing the development of essential life skills such as time management, self-discipline, and resilience. I am Ileana Cabrera, and these are my reflections on my educational journey.
