ILEANA CABRERA

Hello, I'm Ileana Cabrera, 37 years old, and I've been passionately dedicated to teaching since 2014. I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Turabo in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, and later obtained a Master's degree in Special Education from the same institution. Currently, I reside in the state of Texas, and in 2022, I began working with bilingual students at Aldine ISD here in Houston. I am originally from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.

My commitment to education is a fundamental part of who I am, and I take pride in being able to work with students in a bilingual environment. I firmly believe in the power of education to transform lives and am excited for each day I spend in the classroom, helping my students reach their full potential.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Houston and its cultural diversity, as well as learning from the unique experiences this city has to offer. I'm always eager to learn and grow, both as an educator and in my personal life.

Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Digital Learning at Lamar University.
